Dear  Saints,

Today we prayerfully read in, 1 Kings 11.  Today we see proof that men’s hearts are continually wicked.  Solomon a man richly blessed by God turns his heart to false God’s. Solomon’s reign end’s after only forty years.   42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years. 43 And Solomon slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David his father. And Rehoboam his son reigned in his place.  1 Kings 11:42-43.  English Standard Version (ESV).   We as children adopted into the family of God, should always guard against our hearts.  Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” Isaiah 1:16-17 ESV.  Jesus died that we might have a more abundant life.  Always keeping the first thing first. That is the gift of God, salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus.  Follow Jesus not your heart.  Your days will be filled with the joy of the Lord.

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8 ESV.
