Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark 15. and in Mark 16 for Saturday. Sunday we begin in Numbers Chapters 1 and 2. Who is this King of the Jews? They said if he came down from the cross they would believe. “31 So also the chief priests with the scribes mocked him to one another, saying, “He saved others; he cannot save himself. 32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross that we may see and believe.” Those who were crucified with him also reviled him.” Mark 15:31 - 32, English Standard Version (ESV). Jesus knew that if they didn’t believe after all the miracles done during his ministry, they wouldn’t believe for one more. Jesus worked out the plan for their salvation long before they were born. He knew that he had to die in the cross that day and overcome death three days later to redeem all that would believe. He overcame death with a plan and a commission for all that would believe. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. 6 And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you” Mark 16:5-7 ESV. Having overcome death Jesus gave this commission to all who (that is you Saint) would believe and join him in a relationship. “14 Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. 15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:14 - 16, ESV. God had more for the Saints to learn so they could share his love and life. Therefore we begin reading Chapters 1 and 2 this Sunday. Notice that the Levites, God’s Priests to the Jews where not numbered in the census. As we begin our Feast in Numbers I feel that an overview would be appropriate.; “This book is called NUMBERS from the several numberings of the people contained in it. It extends from the giving of the law at Sinai, till their arrival in the plains of Jordan. An account is given of their murmuring and unbelief, for which they were sentenced to wander in the wilderness nearly forty years; also some laws, both, moral and ceremonial. Their trials greatly tended to distinguish the wicked and hypocrites from the faithful and true servants of God, who served him with a pure heart.” - Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary. Remember what ever you do this weekend keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb. “9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” Romans 10:9-10 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast Monday.
The Feast is aimed at reading every word in the Holy Bible in about 3 years. We generally read a chapter a day and once in a while two. We do this to enhance our relationship with God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. We also keep a running prayer list where you can have prayer requests posted by emailing them to me. Generally speaking If you pray and read the scheduled chapter(S) it takes about 15 minutes a day. You choose which version of the bible you care to prayerfully read. We in no way try to replace the fellowship of your local church. We have never asked for any donations nor do we accept them. Everyone is invited to join us in our Saintly Service. You can follow along on one of our blogs or if you want to we will email it to you.

O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.1 Corinthians 15:55-57 ESV
