Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Hosea Chapter 8; “Destruction threatened for the impiety of Israel. (1-4) For their idolatry. (5-10) Further threatenings for the same sins. (11-14) - Matthew Henry Concise
When Israel fell on hard times they cried; “LORD hear us!” (Hosea 8:1-4) however, because they neglected God and chased idols when times were good God did not answer them.  They turned to false religious practices, their god was mad by a craftsman (Hosea 8:5-10) their idol the false god cannot redeem them.  When God didn’t answer them they  added more altars to take away sin, (Hosea 8:11-14) so the one true God will not help them; “14 For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces, and Judah has multiplied fortified cities; so I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour her strongholds.Hosea 8:14 English Standard Versions (ESV).  We must ask ourselves do we really love God.  Is our treasure laid up in heaven (see 1 John 1:6) or do we build our treasure in this world; “20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God." John 3:20-21 ESV.  Pay close attention to what seeds you sew (see John 10:10) your very future is depending on it.  The same goes for what treasures (see Matthew 6:19-21) you pursue and save.  There are only two choices we can make, one is true the other is false (see Matthew 6:24) one you will love and the other you will hate.
Jesus is calling; (see Revelation 3:20) can you hear Jesus calling you?  Do you want to answer Him? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm

The Feast is intended to encourage Saints to pray and read every word in the bible!  Let me know if you have any questions or comments, by replying here on the blog or in an email to mike@admenu.com.
