Praise His Holy Name!

Oct. 27, 2013 – Psalms 85

Psalms Chapter 85 - Prayers for the continuance of former mercies. (1-7) Trust in God's goodness. (8-13)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 85.  The psalmists are asking God to continue in the covenant He made with His people.  They proclaim their trust is in God’s goodness.  12 Yes, the Lord will give what is good,
and our land will yield its increase.
13 Righteousness will go before him
and make his footsteps a way.”   Psalm 85:12-13 - English Standard Version (ESV).  I myself and many of my friends are not happy with the turn our country is taking.   I don’t like seeing my brothers and sisters with blood pressure raised because of politicians.  I try to tell them that we will be alright if we just trust Jesus (See Romans 8:28).  “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12   ESV.  Keep your heart and eyes on Jesus wherever you go whatever you do.  There is salvation in no other, he alone has your back (See Matthew 11:29-30)

We thank you Jesus!  Hallelujah!
