Israel Called to Repentance

“21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” Acts 20:21 New King James Version (NKJV).

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 4.  God calls on Judah to return to him (see Jeremiah 4:1-2) to let God’s Glory be known to the world.  The Lord calls for Judah (see Jeremiah 4:3-4) to repent and return to God.  Jeremiah is appalled because Judah has rebelled (see Jeremiah 4:5-18) and the neighboring nations will bring destruction.  Judah’s sin will bring chaos and desolation to Judah (see Jeremiah 4:19-31) unless they turn from their vanity to God for forgiveness. “31 "For I have heard a voice as of a woman in labor, The anguish as of her who brings forth her first child, The voice of the daughter of Zion bewailing herself; She spreads her hands, saying, 'Woe is me now, for my soul is weary Because of murderers!' “  Jeremiah 4:31  NKJV.  The war against sin is waged with each of us daily (see Leviticus 19:17) so that all of us will receive God’s gift of deliverance from sin?  “15 “15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.“  Matthew 18:15 NKJV. Just as sin entered into our world by the act of one man (see Romans 5:15), they are forgiven by the sacrifice of one man Jesus. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow
