Philistines, Moabites, and David – 2 Sam. 8

8th Year 12-13 Edition 3 – 2nd Sam. 8 l The Feast l Nov 9_2012 II Sam 8 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of 2 Samuel 8. David defeated the Philistine, the Moabites, and David also defeated Hadadezer the Syrians. The spoil is dedicated to the Lord. David's wisely appoints government officials, officers and priests. “15 So David reigned over all Israel. And David administered justice and equity to all his people. 16Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army, and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder, 17 and Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests, and Seraiah was secretary, 18 and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and David's sons were priests.” 2 Samuel 8:15-18, English Standard Version (ESV). Look at the way David served his citizens here, let's pray that God will impress this kind of wisdom on our leaders. The Lord Jesus has revealed Himself to you. In His word in the things you have for everything comes from Him. V 28-30 we all have problems, the Lord will take them to Himself so we can be free. Look to Him for all that you need. Walk with Him. The Lord has given us a way out of your problems. Let all the people Rejoice and praise Him. Read God’s word with Prayer. Read His word every chance you get. This is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Praise God.
