Days of Prayer Day 25 of 40
Dear
Saints,
Today
we prayerfully Feast in the book of I
Samuel 21.
Today we read in 1st
Samuel Even though David's faith was great, it failed him when he was
with Ahimelech. Therefor when David was at Gath he pretended to be
mad. “12
Now David took these words to heart, and was very much afraid of
Achish the king of Gath. 13 So he changed his behavior before them,
pretended madness in their hands, scratched on the doors of the gate,
and let his saliva fall down on his beard. 14 Then Achish said to his
servants, “Look, you see the man is insane. Why have you brought
him to me? 15 Have I need of madmen, that you have brought this
fellow to play the madman in my presence? Shall this fellow come into
my house?””
I Samuel 21:12-15, New King James Version (NKJV). Look at David,
he was afraid of Achish, he seemed to be trusting his heart rather
than God.

DAYS OF PRAYER- DEVOTIONAL 25
SCRIPTURE:
MATTHEW 7:21-27
21
¶ "Knowing the correct password—saying ‘Master,
Master,’ for instance—isn’t going to get you anywhere with
me. What is required is serious obedience—doing what my Father
wills.
22
I can see it now—at the Final Judgment thousands strutting up
to me and saying, ‘Master, we preached the Message, we bashed
the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.’
23
And do you know what I am going to say? ‘You missed the boat.
All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don’t
impress me one bit. You’re out of here.’
24
"These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to
your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They
are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work
these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who
built his house on solid rock.
25
Rain poured down, the river flooded, a tornado hit—but nothing
moved that house. It was fixed to the rock.
26
"But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don’t
work them into your life, you are like a stupid carpenter who
built his house on the sandy beach.
27
When a storm rolled in and the waves came up, it collapsed like a
house of cards."
DON’T
MISS THE BOAT
God
desires that we build on a good foundation. This building equals
our life and He wants us as individuals and as a nation to comply
a high standard of living. When I worked in construction we
prepared for inspection from the City building inspector. We had
to pass His approval before we could go to the next level. So it
is with our nation. We need Godly men to run our nation. Our
nation needs to be “fixed to a rock”. (Verse 25) Pray about
your vote.
PRAYER
THOUGHT: Dear Jesus help us build our lives and our nation. Amen”

Your
faith in God, should controp your actions, despite what your heart
may tell you. We can keep the first thing first, salvation through
the blood of the lamb, Jesus. “A
man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And a word spoken in due
season, how good it is!”
Proverbs 15:23 NKJV. We should always keep our faith in God.

“1
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by
faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the
glory of God.” Romans 5:1-2 NKJV.
