W e will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “[The Righteous Shall Live by Faith] For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”” Romans 1:16, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast reading Luke, Chapter 20; “The priests and scribes question Christ's authority. (1-8) The parable of the vineyard and husbandmen. (9-19) Of giving tribute. (20-26) Concerning the resurrection. (27-38) The scribes silenced. (39-47)” - Matthew Henry Concise. This is a particularly interesting Feast because, we see some interesting comparison’s between heaven and earth. For instance the comparison of women on earth and then in heaven. I really think that the comparison to rendering that which is due to God or Cesar is important. “22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or not?” 23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, 24 “Show me a denarius. Whose likeness and inscription does it have?” They said, “Caesar’s.” 25 He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”” Luke 20:22-25, E SV. We live in a Democracy here in the United States. Some Christians think that it is OK to say mean and untrue things about our elected officials. Saint’s let’s remember that there is no authority appointed over us except that which is appointed by God. “1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, ” Romans 13:1-3 ESV. With this in mind you would tell why another candidate is better than the incumbent in an election. We need to pray for those who are appointed over us. “10 “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 ESV. Our country could have greatness and Christian leadership back once again; “14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14, ESV. We should probably keep praying, doing and speaking good and keep first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Join the Saint’s marching in the image of God? You are an eternal being; Where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with Jesus! If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. Amen!“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus.
