The Bride Adores Her Beloved

Today’s Feast

2/16/14 – Song of Solomon 2
The Bride Adores Her Beloved
5 I will be like the dew to Israel; he shall blossom like the lily; he shall take root like the trees of Lebanon;”  Hosea 14:5

Song of Solomon Chapter 2, “The mutual love of Christ and his church. (1-7) The hope and calling of the church. (8-13) Christ's care of the church, Her faith and hope. (14-17)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Song of Solomon Chapter 2.   A mutual admiration society, Jesus and the Church.  The Church clothed in the righteousness of Christ for this wedding. The Church is as the dove and Christ is her Rock; “16 My beloved is mine, and I am his; he grazes among the lilies.  17 Until the day breathes and the shadows flee, turn, my beloved, be like a gazelle or a young stag on cleft mountains.“   Song of Solomon 2:16-17  English Standard Versions (ESV).   Today’s Feast is about the greatest love story ever told.  Jesus has already saved his bride, the day of the wedding is near (see Matthew 24:32) be sure you are ready.  23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.“  John 14:23  ESV.  Your love for Jesus must be sincere (see Romans 12:9). Eschewing all that is evil; adoring Jesus, he alone is good.

Can you hear Jesus calling?  Do you want to know Jesus?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.“  1 John 4:10 ESV.
