The FeastJun. 4, 2015 – Numbers 1 & 2Think About It?
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“28
so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who
eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin,
for salvation.“
Hebrews
9:28
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Numbers
Chapter
1;
"This
book is called NUMBERS from the several numberings of the people
contained in it. It extends from the giving of the law at Sinai,
till their arrival in the plains of Jordan. An account is given of
their murmuring and unbelief, for which they were sentenced to
wander in the wilderness nearly forty years; also some laws, both,
moral and ceremonial. Their trials greatly tended to distinguish
the wicked and hypocrites from the faithful and true servants of
God, who served him with a pure heart.
The
numbering of the Israelites. (1-43)
The number of the people. (44-46)
The Levites not numbered with the rest. (47-54)"
&
Chapter
2
“The
order of the tribes in their tents.”
- Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today
we begin in Numbers Chapters 1 and 2.
These
numbers show us that god accounts for every person.
“1
Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the
tabernacle of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in
the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt,
saying: 2 "Take a census of all the congregation of the
children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers' houses,
according to the number of names, every male individually,”
Numbers
1:1-2,
NKJV. Not
only does God account for every saint; he accounts for every hair
on the head of every saint;
“30
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”
Matthew
10:30
NKJV. Speaking
of accountability you may want to weigh every word you use because
we will be held accountable for every word we speak; “36
But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will
give account of it in the day of judgment.”
Matthew
12:36
NKJV.
If
the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow.
Don’t
get caught up in “religion”,
it is about a relationship.
Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that
Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we
repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But
concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of
heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew
24:36,
NKJV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do
not wait while you try to change anything.
God
Bless You,
Brother
Mike
