What Is This Gift For?

Today's Feast

Aug. 4, 2015 – Deuteronomy 27
What Is This Gift For?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. W e will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

2 “Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is his name: 3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.Jeremiah 33:2-3, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast by reading Deuteronomy Chapter 27; “The law to be written on stones in the promised land. (1-10) The curses to be pronounced on mount Ebal. (11-26)" - Matthew Henry Concise.

God's people were instructed to build an alter and write all these words of law on it. 5 Build there an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. Do not use any iron tool on them. 6 Build the altar of the Lord your God with fieldstones and offer burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God. 7 Sacrifice fellowship offerings there, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the Lord your God. 8 And you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones you have set up.”Deuteronomy 26:16-19, ESV. Just as God had a plan for His Chosen People, Jesus has a plan for your life Saint. Seek the gifts that God has for you, pray in Jesus name that the Holy Spirit will reveal the plan for your life. Pray and read the Bible; 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.Romans 10:17 ESV. Jesus gave us all a mission first we need to repent from sin and ask Jesus to be Lord of our lives. Then baptism in water as a public statement of our faith; 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”Acts 2:38-39 , ESV. There are many gifts from the Holy Spirit and they are all to be used to glorify God; “18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””, Matthew 28:17-20 ESV. Use the gift(s) God gives you to Glorify God! I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything; admenu.com/calling.html
