You Receive Freely!

Today's Feast

July 23, 2015 – Deuteronomy 15

You Receive Freely!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”Matthew 19:14 English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast by reading Deuteronomy Chapter 15; “The year of release. (1-11) Concerning the release of servants. (12-18) Respecting the firstlings of cattle. (19-23)" - Matthew Henry Concise.

Do you know God has a plan for you and your brother? This plan should be taken to our hearts during the economy we are in. Listen carefully to God’s plan. “8 but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be. 9 Take care lest there be an unworthy thought in your heart and you say, ‘The seventh year, the year of release is near,’ and your eye look grudgingly on your poor brother, and you give him nothing, and he cry to the Lord against you, and you be guilty of sin. 10 You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.Deuteronomy 15:8-10, ESV. Once again you may say tome “Brother Mike that is old testament scripture.” I would remind you of this scripture; “1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. 3 Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. 4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”Hebrews 13:1-5 ESV. Jesus reminds us that when we feed those in need we are feeding him. “37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?Matthew 25:37 ESV. There is one more little thing to think about “20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.1 John 4:20 ESV. So let’s make sure our hearts are right. Continue to keep the first thing first. That being salvation through the blood of the only begotten son of God, Jesus! “19 GOD, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places. To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. Habakkuk 3:19, ESV. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything;

God Bless You,
Brother Mike
