Can we get there from here?     April 19, 2013 - 2 Chronicles 29     Return to Admenu Home           Dear  Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 29   King Hezekiah loved God and ruled the kingdom in a Godly manner.  He began his reign honoring God.  The kingdom prospered accordingly.  “35 Besides the great number of burnt offerings, there was the fat of the peace offerings, and there were the drink offerings for the burnt offerings. Thus the service of the house of the Lord was restored. 36 And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because God had provided for the people, for the thing came about suddenly.’ 2 Chronicles 29:35-36 English Standard Version (ESV).  His kingdom prospered because he whole heartedly followed God.  He immediately restored God’s temple.  Then he quickly made sacrifices to atone for the sin of his forbearers and himself.  “But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.
