7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Exo 2 l The Feast Daily Edition l Jan 31, 2012 Exodus 2 Dear Saints, This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in the Old Testament Exodus 2. We belong here where we witness God calling on Moses to lead his chosen people out of Egypt. As I was reading this scripture it struck a chord; “15 God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.” Exodus 2:15, English Standard Version (ESV). When I was a boy (a few yrs ago) we used to sing this song about Abraham, in Sunday school; “Father Abraham had many children many children had father Abraham and I am one of them and so are you...” We are the children promised to Abraham by God; “5 No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.“ Genesis 17:5 ESV. We are the children of those many nations. Just as God hears the Israelites he hears us. “For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.” Psalm 86:5 ESV. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. THE FEAST Tue Jan 31, 2012 - Exodus 2, “Moses is born, and exposed on the river.
