Are These Words Offensive?
August
12, 2013 – Ephesians 5
Today’s Feast
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast
reading Ephesians 5. At the rate we are moving through the
scripture we will read every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
“3 But
sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named
among you, as is proper among saints. 4 Let there be no filthiness nor
foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there
be thanksgiving. 5 For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually
immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no
inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.” Ephesians
5:3-5 ESV.
“31 “Therefore a man
shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two
shall become one flesh.” 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it
refers to Christ and the church. 33 However, let each one of you love his
wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.” Ephesians
5:31-33 ESV.
Do you find any of the verses in today’s
Feast offensive or archaic? After
you’ve prayed and read Ephesians 5th Chapter, I would like to hear
(if only a Yes or No) from you in a post or an email.
Jesus
is calling! Can you still hear him? He
won’t call forever, now is the time to answer his call. Do you want to find
peace and purpose? If the answer is
yes please click the following link;
The Feast belongs
to Jesus you may share it anywhere with any and all!
God Bless You,
Brother Mike

“Or do you not know that your
body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You
are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your
body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV.
