Jesus Has Called You!

Today’s Feast

March 31, 2015 – Exodus 19

Jesus Has Called You!

7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.Hebrews 8:7, New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 19; The people come to Sinai, God's message to them, and their answer. (1-8) The people directed to prepare to hear the law. (9-15) The presence of God on Sinai. (16-25)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
In today's Feast God tells Moses to go to the people and prepare them to hear Me; “9 And the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever." So Moses told the words of the people to the Lord. 10 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.Exodus 19:9-10, NKJV. We like Moses have been sent by the Lord God; “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV. The only question is; “will we obey Jesus?” It's is up to each Saint to follow Jesus and share (Matthew 5:13) His light and love with the with those who are dieing in their sin.

Sharing The Burden of Leadership

Today’s Feast

March 30, 2015 – Exodus 18

Sharing The Burden of Leadership

14 I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.Numbers 11:14, New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 18; Jethro brings to Moses his wife and two sons. (1-6) Moses entertains Jethro. (7-12) Jethro's counsel to Moses. (13-27)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
In today's Feast we see no matter what gifts the Holy Spirit blesses you with, or how God uses you, it would be good to imitate Moses here; “8 And Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how the Lord had delivered them.Exodus 18:8, NKJV. When God moves concerning anything be sure to give him the glory. Our God is great and greatly to be praised. The next thing I see here is learn how to delegate. Moses’ father in law, wise old gentleman that he is sees Mo, taking the responsibility for everything, he is working himself into exhaustion; “14 So when Moses' father-in-law saw all that he did for the people, he said, "What is this thing that you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit, and all the people stand before you from morning until evening?"Exodus 18:14 NKJV. So he says to Mo; Slow down you’ll have a ministry as long as God needs you. If you don’t delegate some of the work though you may not keep your sanity as long as God needs you. So as we see here Moses believes his dad in law and delegates some of the responsibilities that came with his ministry; “25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people: rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.Exodus 18:25 NKJV. So as for you and I let’s keep the first thing first, salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus. Pace yourself because God doesn’t want anyone to perish; “7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His graceEphesians 1:7 NKJV. Share God's love and the load.
