Exodus 5 - 7

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Exo 5-7

The Feast Daily Edition l

Feb 3-5, 2012 Exodus 5-7
Dear Saints,
This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus 5 - 7. Today we see Moses receiving grief from his own people, they believed the Pharaoh. Instead of going to God in prayer asking for instruction and direction, we see Moses railing at God. “22 Then Moses turned to the LORD and said, “O Lord, why have you done evil to this people? Why did you ever send me?23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has done evil to this people, and you have not delivered your people at all.” Exodus 5:22-23, English Standard Version (ESV). Still God did not give up on his chosen people, because he is faithful and true.”6 Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. Exodus 6:6 ESV. Jesus doesn’t give us grief he delivers us from evil. Many times you’ll hear people say; ”If God really loves his people why does he allow evil to happen!” Sometimes it is just because they would rather depend on themselves than God. The Egyptian rulers just became harder against God’s chosen people at first; “2 You shall speak all that I command you, and your brother Aaron shall tell Pharaoh to let the people of Israel go out of his land. 3 But I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and though I multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt,” Exodus 7:2-3 ESV. Do you suppose people were pointing at the Israelis saying; “If their God is so good why does he allow them to suffer so?” “But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.Psalm 59:16 ESV I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added / changed on the prayer list (http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html), please write mlitew8@gmail.com. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again Monday.
Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
