Today’s Feast
Nov. 30, 2014- Haggai 1
Therefore You Will Stand
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will
spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years. Gods
Not Dead!
“11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no
one may take your crown.” - Revelation 3:11 - New King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Haggai Chapter 1; “After
the return from captivity, Haggai was sent to encourage the people to rebuild
the temple, and to reprove their neglect. To encourage their undertaking, the
people are assured that the glory of the second temple shall far exceed that
of the first, by the appearing therein of Christ, the Desire of all nations.
Haggai reproves the Jews
for neglecting the temple. (1-11) He
promises God's assistance to them.(12-15)” - Matthew Henry Concise
The Israelites are neglecting God; (see Haggai 1:1-11) they are not yet repentant because, they feel like they will
have time later. Then Haggai, gave God’s message
to the people: (see Haggai 1:12-15) saying I am with you, says the Lord; “14 So the Lord stirred up the spirit of
Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua
the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of
the people; and they came and worked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their
God, 15 on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month, in the second year of
King Darius.” Haggai 1:14-15 - NKJV.
We should never take God, the Holy Spirit or His Word for granted; (see Luke
12:20) we don’t know when he
will be coming for us; “10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the
heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with
fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of
persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,” 2 Peter 3:10-11 NKJV. Be ready so that you will stand when; (see Ephesians
6:13-14) God’s enemies come to
persecute you.
Do you really want justice?! Is Jesus knocking at your
door? Are you ready to answer God’s call? If the answer is yes;
today is the day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave,
change or quit anything (see Revelation
3:20) Jesus is at knocking
at your door this minute. He wants you to come just as you are, surrendering
all! Will you answer Him today? Do you want to find true happiness,
peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm
