We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 11 .  Paul tells the Corinthians that they should be imitators of him, as he is of Christ.  He reminded the Corinthians to judge themselves so they will not be judged by others.  He tells us how Christians should conduct themselves when they take communion.  “30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. 31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.” 1 Corinthians 11:30-32, English Standard Version (ESV).  We are reminded that over indulgence in food or drink is bad for us.  Saints must conduct themselves in a manner which glorifies Jesus.  Don’t add hoops for our brothers and sisters to jump through when they are trying to follow Jesus. If someone asks us to pray for them we should honor them by carrying their needs straight to Jesus.  “16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16, ESV. Saints should be assured that when they ask one to another for prayer that the sin or need is NOT fuel for gossip.  In other words prayer for one and another is from our lips to Jesus.
