From our lips to Jesus!     May 6, 2013 - 1 Corinthians 11       Return to Admenu Home   Admenu’s Alternate Site           Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 11 .  Paul tells the Corinthians that they should be imitators of him, as he is of Christ.  He reminded the Corinthians to judge themselves so they will not be judged by others.  He tells us how Christians should conduct themselves when they take communion.  “30 That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died. 31 But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.” 1 Corinthians 11:30-32 English Standard Version (ESV).  We are reminded that over indulgence in food or drink is bad for us.  Saints must conduct themselves in a manner which glorifies Jesus.  Don’t add hoops for our brothers and sisters to jump through when they are trying to follow Jesus. If someone asks us to pray for them we should honor them by carrying their needs straight to Jesus.  “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
