Today’s FeastMay 3, 2015 – Leviticus 12It Must Be Love!
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
“12
rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly
in prayer;”
Romans
12:12
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Leviticus Chapter
12;
“
Ceremonial
purification.” -
Matthew
Henry Concise.
God
our father has gave his Holy Word and faithful instruction in
every area of life including child birth; “1
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 "Speak to the
children of Israel, saying: 'If a woman has conceived, and borne a
male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days
of her customary impurity she shall be unclean.”
Leviticus
12:1-2,
NKJV. God does these things because he only wants the best for His
people; “16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that
whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
John
3:16
NKJV. That “whoever” in John 3:16 points to you and I Saint.
God also has gifts and expectations for his people. “3
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among
you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think,
but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of
faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the
members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are
one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given
to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion
to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he
who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who
gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows
mercy, with cheerfulness.”
Romans
12:3-8
NKJV. True Christian’s lives are filled with love and caring for
all of God’s creation. They try to avoid even the appearance of
evil. “9
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what
is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly
love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in
diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in
hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13
distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.”
Romans
12:9-13
NKJV. Lets try to keep the first thing first as we move ahead in
our relationship with Jesus. Jesus paid the price while we were
still sinners, so we need to show the same grace to sinners..
If
the Lord is willing I will post The Feast again tomorrow.
