September 13, 2013 – Psalms 39

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 39 - “David meditates on man's frailty. (1-6) He applies for pardon and deliverance. (7-13)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 39David recognizes how frail men are.  He asks God for salvation and forgiveness.  “12 “Hear my prayer, O Lord,
    and give ear to my cry;
    hold not your peace at my tears!
For I am a sojourner with you,
    a guest, like all my fathers.
13 Look away from me, that I may smile again,
    before I depart and am no more!”   Psalms 39:12-13 - English Standard Version (ESV).   We are blessed by Jesus he has paid the full price for our deliverance.  We know how frail people are and how short life can be.  Without Jesus there is no hope!  (See Acts 4:12).  Our very hope of righteousness is in Jesus.  For the righteousness of Jesus we, the church must pull together.

 “[ Suffering for Righteousness' Sake ] Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. 1 Peter 3:8 ESV.

Jesus is calling!  He will not call you forever! Today is the day of salvation. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;
