What Do You Expect?

Today’s Feast

What Do You Expect?
Nov. 10, 2013 – Psalms 102

Psalms Chapter 102- “A sorrowful complaint of great afflictions. (1-11) Encouragement by expecting the performances of God's promises to his church. (12-22) The unchangeableness of God. (23-28)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 102.  The Psalmist takes his needs to God in prayer.   He is buoyed up by remembering God’s promises.  He knows our God is awesome never changing and never letting those who ask in earnest fail. 27     but you are the same, and your years have no end.
28 The children of your servants shall dwell secure;
    their offspring shall be established before you.  Psalm 101:7 - English Standard Version (ESV).   We call on our God in the name of Jesus.  We are called according to God’s purpose, we turn to God expecting an answer (See Romans 8:28).  Therefor God works all things together for our good. “10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth!”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah Psalm 46:10-11 ESV.  When we go to God in Jesus name we must be expecting an answer. We pray with the expectations of a child knowing that our God will honor our faith in Jesus (see Luke 17:6).

Hear me my Lord do not hide your face from me!  Amen!

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Joshua 24:15 ESV.
