Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Numbers Chapter 10; “The silver trumpets. (1-10) The Israelites remove from Sinai to Paran. (11-28) Hobab entreated by Moses to continue. (29-32) The blessing pronounced by Moses. (33-36) - Matthew Henry Concise. When the trumpet sounds the people of God prepare to march. They were in the wilderness dependent on God to lead them. “1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 "Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps.” Numbers 10:1-2, NKJV. Each tribe knew when it was their time to move and what they carried beyond their personal possessions. You might think it would be easy to follow God when you knew it was him calling. But as we read on we see not everyone intended to follow God. “11 'Surely none of the men who came up from Egypt, from twenty years old and above, shall see the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because they have not wholly followed Me,” Numbers 32:11 NKJV. Our awesome God provided for all of His people as they followed him in the wilderness, yet many of them couldn’t find the faith to follow him. We see the disciples following Jesus as they were called. This included the son of perdition for a while. Yet not everyone who believed that Jesus was the Messiah could bring themselves to follow him. “16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, "Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?" 17 So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."” Matthew 19:16-17 NKJV. This rich man believed that Jesus was the Messiah, but the treasure of this earth bound him. “21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.” Matthew 19:21-22 NKJV. Once again; “we keep salvation through the blood of the Lamb as issue number one.” There is no reason for us to worry about the cost of our personal walk with the Lord. “15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ--” Ephesians 4:15 NKJV If you believe Jesus is Lord, the only begotten son of God and you make him Lord of your life; You Can Stay! If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow. Is Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call? Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” Matthew 24:36 NKJV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
