Sept. 27, 2013 – Psalms 53

Today’s Feast

Psalms Chapter 53 - “The enemies of the truth and the church described, Their destruction. (1-5) The righteous rejoice. (6-9)”- Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 53. The psalmist describes the character of the ungodly.  He prays for the future of God’s people.  3 They have all fallen away;
    together they have become corrupt;
there is none who does good,
    not even one…
6 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
    When God restores the fortunes of his people,
    let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.
”   Psalm 53:3-6 - English Standard Version (ESV).  How do we impress the love of God on the minds of our love ones?  How can we let them know that if they just trust Jesus everything will be alright (See Romans 8:28)?  How can we show them how much Jesus has in store for them? But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.Matthew 6:33  ESV.

Salvation is ours. Jesus is calling us home today.  This is the day to answer his call. Do you want to find peace and purpose?  If the answer is yes please click the following link;

The Feast does belong to Jesus! It is intended to encourage Saints to pray and read every word in the bible!  Let me know if you have any questions or comments, by replying here on the blog or in an email.

For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:30-31 ESV.
