Prepared To Serve?

Today’s Feast

Apr 21, 2015 – Exodus 40

Prepared To Serve?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:6 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Exodus Chapter 40; The tabernacle is to be set up, Aaron and his sons to be sanctified. (1-15) Moses performs all as directed. (16-33) The glory of the Lord fills the tabernacle. (34-38)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today Our Feast is about the instructions God gave Moses about the Tabernacle and the clothing for the Priests following God’s directives. God had Moses prepare everything so that His people, priests, Aaron and his sons could serve and worship Him; “12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of meeting and wash them with water. 13 You shall put the holy garments on Aaron, and anoint him and consecrate him, that he may minister to Me as priest. 14 And you shall bring his sons and clothe them with tunics. 15 You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to Me as priests; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations."Exodus 40:12-15, NKJV. There is no guessing where God works he still is exacting in what we do in preparation to serve Him. We find an example of how we are to dress here; “7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 5:7-9 NKJV. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again this tomorrow.
