7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 Exo 15
Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus 15. Have you ever noticed how easy it is to be a great Christian when we are on the mountain top. I mean when everything is going your way it’s easy to shout; “Praise God!” God’s chosen people are no different when they are on a winning streak, this is what I’m saying; “‘You have led in your steadfast love the people whom you have redeemed; you have guided them by your strength to your holy abode.” Exodus 15:13, English Standard Version (ESV). See while they are on top of the mountain God is great and greatly to be praised. As soon as they start that descent into the first vally things change. You know like when they cut your hours at work. As you get home the spouse says; “Call a plumber, there’s something wrong with the water!”; “23When they came to Marah, they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; therefore it was named Marah 24And the people grumbled against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?’” Exodus 15:23-24 ESV. We might go off like;“This is all I need they cut my hours at work and now the house is falling apart!” ; “9And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 11What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent” Luke 11:9-11 ESV. It appears to me God’s people would be better off asking our Father before we complain or become bitter. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list (http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html), please write mlitew8@gmail.com. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again this tomorrow. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
