Nov 5_2012 II Sam 4
National Days of Prayer Day 39 of 40

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of 2 Samuel 3. Ishbosheth whom David considers a righteous man is murdered. David puts to death Rechab and Baanah, the murderers. 10 when one told me, ‘Behold, Saul is dead,’ and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and killed him at Ziklag, which was the reward I gave him for his news. 11 How much more, when wicked men have killed a righteous man in his own house on his bed, shall I not now require his blood at your hand and destroy you from the earth?” 12 And David commanded his young men, and they killed them and cut off their hands and feet and hanged them beside the pool at Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-bosheth and buried it in the tomb of Abner at Hebron.” 2 Samuel 4:10-12 English Standard Version (ESV). Always call on God before every decision, big or small. If you wait on God for the answer you will avoid sin.

40 Days of Prayer day 39, Prayer for our nation by, - Pastor Glen Aycock

40 Days of Prayer –day 39
Scripture: Phil 2:9-11

Today's devotional is very simple yet powerful:
JESUS

Phil 2:9-11
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. NIV

There is only one name by which we are saved! Please pray today that we will keep Him in focus throughout our day and reflect his great glory in everything we do and say.

God Bless all of you and keep praying till the answer comes!

There are many questions that we have but there is only one true answer:

JESUS

Please keep our nation in prayer.
Prayer: God Bless your family and our great nation, AMEN!”

Thank you for praying for our nation with us. Listen for God's answer in everything you do. Keeping the first thing first that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. “For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.” Romans 13:6 ESV.
