Today’s
Feast
April
12,
2015 – Exodus 31
On
What Day Do We Worship God?
“9
Six days you shall labor and do all your work,“
Exodus
20:9,
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus
Chapter
31;
“Bezaleel
and Aholiab are appointed and qualified for the work of the
tabernacle. (1-11)
The observance of the sabbath. (12-17)
Moses receives the tables of the law. (18)“
- Matthew
Henry Concise.
In
Today’s
Feast God gives Moses The
law, written in tables of stone, to show how lasting it is;
“18
When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave
him the two tablets of the Testimony, the tablets of stone
inscribed by the finger of God.”
Exodus
31:18
NKJV. The
question was poised to a group of Christians of different
denominations; What day do you set aside to worship God on? Some
said; Friday night from sun down until sun down Saturday! Others
said clearly Saturday is the sabbeth! While others said; Sunday
because our Lord arose on Sunday!
“3
clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written
not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets
of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.“
2
Corinthians 3:3
NKJV”. As
for you and I, we
set aside everyday to worship God; (Psalm
70:4),
in
the name of Jesus.
Do
you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal
being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with
God? To be sure turn from sin just say this simple prayer; “Dear
God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus
Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing
to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and
life as my personal Savior.“
If
you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning
from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and
fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to
measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of
believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends
completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his
life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin)
and accept Jesus.
God
Bless You,
Brother
