Are we glorifying Jesus?
June 5, 2013 – II Corinthians
5
Dear
Saints,
Today we
prayerfully continue the Feast in II Corinthians 5. Do
you think that some of the Corinthians we’re glorifying their past? You know what I mean sometimes a person’s
confession sounds more like bragging. Sometimes
when someone is trying to help another do their words turn into fuel for gossip? Do saints refer to other people’s religion in
a demeaning way? Any bragging or derogatory
talk hurts your credibility as an ambassador. “20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making
his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to
God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we
might become the righteousness of God.” II Corinthians 5:20-21 ESV. Demeaning
others or building yourself up will never help you lead others to Jesus! “Therefore encourage one another and
build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV. When
we encourage others and build one another up we are doing well as ambassadors
for Jesus. Let’s let our lights shine and all glorify
to God.

O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the
