Today’s Feast
My Refuge and My Fortress!
Nov. 2, 2013 – Psalms 91
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our
Feast reading Psalms 91. Psalmist is speaking about God’s blessings for those that were elected to
be His people. “1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the
shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I
trust.”” Psalm 91:17 - English Standard Version (ESV). We who
have made Jesus Lord of our lives need to trust him (See Proverbs 3:5)! Some times in life it’s easy to get caught
up irritable about our plight! We
should be thanking Jesus because; he is our rock and our fortress in whom we
trust. “9 But you are a chosen
race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession,
that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness
into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9 ESV. We who love
the lord need to walk in the light of His Word so people will see the difference
Jesus has made in our lives. Instead of
complaining with those who cannot change their plight or ours we need to
point to the joy we have with Jesus in our heart (See
2 Peter 3:9)!
He gives us hope that passes
human understanding.
Thank you Jesus you are the light of our lives. Hallelujah!
