7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 LEV 10
Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Leviticus 10. God our father has given us his Holy Word and in it we find salvation, love and fellowship. He gave his Word and exact instruction to his people here in Leviticus, What happens when men decide to follow practices in ways that are different than what God has shown us in his word. Here we see what happened when Aaron’s sons give an offering not in the manner of what God’s word called for; “1 Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it and laid incense on it and offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. 2 And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. 3 Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” And Aaron held his peace.” Leviticus 10:1-3, (ESV - English Standard Version). Everything we’ve read in our Feast in Leviticus shows God giving exact instructions on how to please him. God’s Word tells us how to live in a way acceptable to God. God paved the Way for us; “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV. Be careful with whom and how you approach God. He did not make a way he made the only way. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6.ESV. Once again if some one says; “we worship the same God just by another, name, word or anything else here’s what Paul the apostle said; “6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:6-8 ESV. So Let’s keep it real and stay on that narrow path that His Word our GPS or compass leading us home to Him. Go forward with confidence; “12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. “ Philippians 2:12-13, English Standard Version (ESV). Let’s keep the first thing first as we move ahead with our relationship with Jesus. Remember always that Jesus paid the price while we were still sinners. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again Tomorrow. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.
