All In The Name Of Jesus!

Today’s Feast Hallowed Be His Name! Oct. 17, 2013 – Psalms 75 Psalms Chapter 75 - “The psalmist declares his resolution of executing judgment. (1-5) He rebukes the wicked, and concludes with resolutions to praise God. (6-10)” - Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 75. The psalmist is speaking about the powers appointed over all men.  All blessings and promotions come from God.  “6 For not from the east or from the west     and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, 7 but it is God who executes judgment,     putting down one and lifting up another.”   Psalm 75:6-7 - English Standard Version (ESV).  When God’s people constantly complained to mosses and each other in the wilderness to what avail (See Numbers 14:26-30)? Does this mean they should bury their head in the sand and ignore their circumstance?  By no means!  If we don’t like what is happening to or around us we need to turn to our God!  “14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV.  Thank Jesus there is no other name under heaven from whom blessings flow.  May the whole earth be filled with his glory!
