Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 14 . This
feast teaches us that all things should be done decently and in order.
If any one takes offense to these words they are offended by God, not men. “37 If anyone thinks that he is a
prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to
you are a command of the Lord. 38 If anyone does not
recognize this, he is not recognized.39 So, my brothers, earnestly
desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 40 But
all things should be done decently and in order.” 1
Corinthians 14:37-40, English Standard Version (ESV). God’s
Word frees us from condemnation. We who are freed from sin have an
obligation to share God’s Word. “[Life in the Spirit] 1 There is therefore now no
condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For
the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus
from the law of sin and death.” Romans
8:1-2, ESV. Once we are free from sin and sealed by the Holy
Spirit, we love the Word of God. We share God’s Word with grace
and love and if any person is offended by what we say they are offended by
God. If we try to change the meaning of what God’s Word, to the
gospel light; we are lying. We would be sending people on the path
to Hell! We also will be repaid with the wages of sin, death and
eternal punishment. If we carry God’s message forward with love
and no malice, we will be repaid with the wages of a Saint, life everlasting
in the kingdom of God. So let’s present Jesus in love, decently and in order
with the Word of God. If the Lord is willing I will send and post the
Feast again tomorrow.
