Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 49.   This prophecy speaks to the coming Messiah Jesus and the rejection (see Matthew 27:26) by the Israelites.  God sent Jesus to save (see Zephaniah 2:15) the Gentile and they will carry news of God’s son back to the Israelites.; “25 But thus says the Lord: "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children. 26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know That I, the Lord, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."” Isaiah 49:25-26  NKJV.   God sent his only son Jesus to save (see John 3:16 ) Jew and Gentile alike. “[Fulfilling the Law Through Love] 8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.”  Romans 13:8 NKJV.   God is awesome He loved the His Creation so much that while they were still deep in sin (see Romans 5:8) he sent Jesus to redeem is.  We must carry the Word to the world with the same respect and love as Jesus brought the Word to us.  After all; we are the ambassadors for (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) Jesus! Therefore, we carry God’s Word in love to Jew and Gentile (see Romans 15:8) alike If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”  1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NKJV.

Israel Refined for God's Glory

“19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”  Isaiah 43:19 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 48.   This prophecy begins with God criticizing the (see Exodus 32:9) Israelites for their obstinate behavior.  God delivered from slavery (see Zephaniah 2:15) yet they continued to do wrong; “22 “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”” Isaiah 48:22  NKJV.   It seems that wicked people (see Colossians 3:16-17) are constantly trying to (see 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11) pervert the Word of God.  Rest assured they will reap (see Romans 6:23) their just reward just as the believer will receive theirs.  We are should learn to be content (see Philippians 4:11) with God’s gifts.  We “Christians” need to stop complaining about government and taxes; “6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.” Romans 13:6-7 NKJV.   Jesus gives us life everlasting (see Matthew 25:45-46when we accept him as our personal savior.  In turning to Jesus, we give up only what would hurt us. In accepting Jesus we gain that measure of hope(see Ephesians 1:18) the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.  We gather that gold refined by the fire (see Revelation 3:17) as we lead others to Jesus! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 47.   This prophecy describes the god Babylon as female (see Psalm 71:18) symbol who is in distress.   Those that worship her are miserable (see Zephaniah 2:15) and God will utterly destroy her and all that worship her are lost. “12 "Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted, Who are far from righteousness: 13 I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not linger. And I will place salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory.” Isaiah 46:12-13   NKJV.   When you pray who are you calling on, in   whose name (see Colossians 3:16-17) are praying?  We do not pray to any or in any other (see Romans 6:23) name than Jesus.  “23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,” Romans 3:23-24 NKJV.   Jesus (see Titus 3:7) set men free from sin and death first on the cross then in the resurrection.   In the end Babylon will be (see Revelation 14:8, Revelation 16:19, Revelation 17:5) humiliated If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; “But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children, To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.”  Psalm 103:17-18  NKJV.

Babylon’s idols and the One True God

“44 I will punish Bel in Babylon, And I will bring out of his mouth what he has swallowed; And the nations shall not stream to him anymore. Yes, the wall of Babylon shall fall.” Jeremiah 51:44 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 46.   This prophecy was given (see Psalm 71:18) to show our God as true and all Idols (others gods) ineffective.  The Lord Jehovah our God is the (see Isaiah 44:8) only God, there are no others. “12 "Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted, Who are far from righteousness: 13 I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not linger. And I will place salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory. Isaiah 46:12-13  NKJV.  Ignoring God and his plan for our lives will bring the same rewards (see Romans 6:23) as worshipping idols or praying in any other name than Jesus. God the Father sent Jesus (see John 3:16) to redeem us rather than to condemn us!  “23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,” Romans 3:23-24 NKJV.  It isn’t a matter of religion or how we present ourselves; the matter is do we love (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3Jesus, and the Church, is our faith in Jesus or things of the flesh. Jesus is the only name (see Acts 4:12) by which we are saved!   If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
