What am I waiting for?
April 28, 2013 - 1 Corinthians 2
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 2 ← (Hyperlink). The apostle preached Christ crucified. We don’t know the mind of God; however we
are educated by the Holy Spirit, in this doctrine. We can understand God’s
intentions by the Holy Spirit. “14 The natural person does not accept the things
of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to
understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual
person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 “For who
has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the
mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 English Standard Version (ESV).
We serve God proclaiming salvation
through Jesus. We are not proclaiming
equality with Jesus, we claim justification through Jesus! “Have this mind among yourselves,
which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did
not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by
taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being
found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of
death, even death on a cross.” Philippians 2:5-8 ESV. We serve Jesus in love grateful thankfulness
for salvation. We offer to share
salvation with every person, emulating the grace that Jesus showed us on the
cross. As we wait on the Lord, we can

so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 30 And because of
him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness
and sanctification and redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Let the one
who boasts, boast in the Lord.”” 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV.
