September 11, 2013 – Psalms 37
Today’s Feast
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast reading Psalms 37. David compares the life
of the godly to that of the wicked. He
closes this chapter saying that God will not forsake his people. “39 The salvation of the righteous is from the
Lord;
he is their stronghold
in the time of trouble.
40 The Lord helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from
the wicked and saves them,
because they take
refuge in him.” Psalms 37:.940:- English
Standard Version (ESV). Look around if
you’re looking for evil it’s easy to see.
The unsaved are truly caught up in keeping what they have gained, and
they never seem to have enough. Look at
the godly secure in Jesus and you will see contentment in their spirit and
purpose in their life.
“[ My Help Comes from the Lord ] [ A Song of
Ascents. ] I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My
help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm
121:1-2 ESV.
Can you still hear Jesus
calling? He will not bother you forever. Now is the time to find contentment
in salvation! Do you want to find peace and purpose? If the answer is yes please click the
