How much of our life do we commit?     April 18, 2013 - 2 Chronicles 27-28     Return to Admenu Home           Dear  Saints,   Today we prayerfully read two chapters we continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 27&28.    In Chapter 27 we look at Jotham's reign in Judah. The people of Judah were corrupt. Jotham was not committed to the restructuring of the land. Chapter 28 Because of the wicked reign of Ahaz in Judah. - God gave Israel this victory because was angry with the wicked ways of Judah. “22 In the time of his distress he became yet more faithless to the Lord—this same King Ahaz. 23 For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus that had defeated him and said, “Because the gods of the kings of Syria helped them, I will sacrifice to them that they may help me.” But they were the ruin of him and of all Israel.’ 2 Chronicles 28:22-23 English Standard Version (ESV).  It never works to commit halfway to God. We both confess with our mouth and believe with our heart; “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
