Do we share God’s love with ninnies?     May 8, 2013 - 1 Corinthians 13       Return to Admenu Home   Admenu’s Alternate Site           Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 13 .  This feast Teaches us that love is the greatest gift a saint can share. While other things are temporary God’s love endures forever.   “8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.   13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 English Standard Version (ESV).  We soon find that the love of God that we share is essential to keeping God’s commandments. That love is to be shared with our neighbors.  “36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”” Matthew 22:36-40 ESV.  How can we love our neighbors when we know they are not part of the body of Jesus?  To quote Robert Waters; “Love your neighbors hate the sin!”  Remember that God is not willing that any should die in their sin.  (see Matthew 18:13-15)   Is Jesus is calling out to you?  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil?
