Our Rock and Our Fortress!

Dec. 11, 2013 – Psalms 144

Psalms 144  “David acknowledges the great goodness of God, and prays for help. (1-8) He prays for the prosperity of his kingdom. (9-15)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalms.  By reading Psalms 144 .  David begins by thanking God for the victories then he lets his requests be known.  New blessings require new thankfulness as he asks for God to bless his kingdom. “15 Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall!
Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!  Psalm 144:11-12  - English Standard Version (ESV).  Like God’s people of old we still require God’s blessings for our battles Jesus knows just how to prepare us for our battles (see Ephesians 6:12).  Wait on the Lord Jesus and let His Word direct all your paths.  “14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.Isaiah 7:14 ESV.  Our Faith in Jesus will carry us through every situation (see 2 Corinthians 6:1-10).

Jesus is our rock and salvation! Hallelujah!

Can you still hear Jesus calling you?   Does the love of God appeal to you?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
