Prepared For War & Peace!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 1 Peter 4:10, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 27; “ David's military force. (1-15) Princes and officers. (16-34) ” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 27.   We see the Military Divisions; “This is the number of the people of Israel, the heads of fathers' houses, the commanders of thousands and hundreds, and their officers who served the king in all matters concerning the divisions that came and went, month after month throughout the year, each division numbering 24,000:1 Chronicles 27:1, ESV.  And the leaders, councilors and scribes appointed; “32 Jonathan, David's uncle, was a counselor, being a man of understanding and a scribe. He and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni attended the king's sons. 33 Ahithophel was the king's counselor, and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend. 34 Ahithophel was succeeded by Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was commander of the king's army.1 Chronicles 27:32-33, ESV.  David knew the value of being and appointing good stewards over all of God’s gifts. God has given you and I salvation, prepared us for battle and spreading the gifts he has given us as we are Ambassadors; “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”Matthew 28:16-20, ESV.  We just as David know the importance of a strong military.  God has identified the real enemy and showed us how to prepare for the battle, as soldiers of the cross; “12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.Ephesians 6:12, ESV.  Therefor as good stewards we will stand prepared; for War and Peace! If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.

 God Bless You,
Brother Mike
