Strength
In Jesus!
September 5, 2013 – Psalms 31
Today’s Feast
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast reading Psalms
31. David expresses his faith in in God’s goodness,
in times of trouble, He finds strength in God and thanks him with confidence
in praise. “23 Love the Lord, all you his saints!
The Lord preserves the
faithful
but abundantly repays the one
who acts in pride.
24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the
Lord!” Psalms 31:23-24 - English Standard Version (ESV). Take
your stand with Jesus and wait for him. We find Joy, love, purpose, strength, mercy,
life and more in Jesus.
“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven
and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And
behold, I am with you always, to the end of the
age.” Matthew
28:18-20 ESV.
