Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel Chapter 27; “David retires to Gath. (1-7) David deceives Achish. (8-12)” - Matthew Henry Concise. Today as we read in 1st Samuel, We see David request to and is allowed by Achish to move to Gath. He stays there for a year and four months. David deceives Achish, by routing and absolutely destroying enemies of Israel. “9 And David would strike the land and would leave neither man nor woman alive, but would take away the sheep, the oxen, the donkeys, the camels, and the garments, and come back to Achish. 10 When Achish asked, “Where have you made a raid today?” David would say, “Against the Negeb of Judah,” or, “Against the Negeb of the Jerahmeelites,” or, “Against the Negeb of the Kenites.”” I Samuel 27:9-10, ESV.  God keeps his word to destroy those who would be Israel’s enemy. Our God is awesome; he has a purpose for your life too! “28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28, ESV.  Let’s keep the first thing first, salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus.  If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV.
