Praise & Pray! – 2 Kings 7
Jan 23, 2013 - 2
Kings 7
Dear Saints,
Today we are prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 7. We have a lot of people who
need our prayer today. For that reason I’ll ask that before you read today
you’ll join us at http://www.admenu.com
for praise and
prayer. Here is an example of
some of the things we are praying for; Bless Bob, He has cancer, Please heal
Tom suffering with Leukemia, Pastor Glen is having chest pains, Pastor
Glen's granddaughter she has stage four brain cancer, help Mike, Nina and
Bruce find employment and much much more praise and prayer. Thank you Jesus! If you have or know someone who needs prayer,
you can submit praise reports and prayer requests at; http://www.admenu.com/requests.htm
. Remember asking God is an important part of the Christian life. When you pray have faith, expect
results.
Because he didn’t have faith in God this captain
was not be blessed; “1 But Elisha said, “Hear the
word of the Lord: thus says the Lord, Tomorrow about this time a seah of
fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a
shekel, at the gate of Samaria.” 2 Then the captain on whose hand the king
leaned said to the man of God, “If the Lord himself should make windows in
heaven, could this thing be?” But he said, “You shall see it with your own
eyes, but you shall not eat of it.“ 2nd Kings 7:1-2
English -Standard Version (ESV). God
wants your prayer, believe God for a blessing! “16
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that
you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it
is working. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed
fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did
not rain on the earth. 18 Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and
the earth bore its fruit.” James 5:16-18 English Standard Version (ESV). Pray
and let your light shine, keep the first thing first. That is salvation
through the blood of our Lord Jesus.
Have faith in God, he gave us his Word!

Psalm
103:1-4 (New International Version)
1 Praise
the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy
name. 2 Praise
the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-- 3 who
forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,4 who
redeems your life from the pit and
crowns you with love and compassion.
The Bible speaks often of miraculous healing
through the work of Jesus Christ and through faith in God. Find Scripture
that will encourage you and help you focus on finding comfort through the
healing of Christ both spiritually and physically.
Read God’s word with Prayer. Read His word every chance you get.
Let all
the people Rejoice and praise Him.
This is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Praise God.

“[Ask, and It Will Be Given]
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it
will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who
seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew
7:7-8 ESV.
