Jan. 6, 2014 – Proverbs 8 The Blessings Of Wisdom! All the words of God’s mouth are righteous; there is nothing twisted or crooked in them. Proverbs 8  “Christ, as Wisdom, calls to the sons of men. (1-11) The nature and riches of Wisdom. (12-21) Christ one with the Father, in the creation of the world, and rejoicing in his work for the salvation of man. (22-31) Exhortations to hear Christ's word. (32-36)” -  Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu - Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in the book of Proverbs Chapter 8. In Proverbs 8 we begin to understand that the words of Christ, guide the most ignorant persons into the knowledge of the truth.  In these verses we find prudence and skill are from the Lord. They show Jesus is the Creator and the only Savior of people. We should listen to the voice of Jesus with the childlike enthusiasm. “35 For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord, 36 but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death.”” Proverbs 8:35-36 (English Standard Version) ESV.    Jesus is still calling out to his creation today (see Revelation 3:20).  It is up to every person to answer Jesus while he is still calling (see Romans 1:28) them to be blessed.  “13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:13  ESV.
