Today’s Feast
Why
We Do The Feast
“21
By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of
Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff."
Hebrews
11:21
New
King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
As
we continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis
Chapter
48;
“Joseph
visits his dying father.(1-7)
Jacob
blesses Joseph's sons. (8-22)
“
-
Matthew
Henry
Concise
As
we continue reading in
Genesis
48,
I
will explore our reason for the Feast. We read every word in God’s
Word about every 3 years. Where does our faith come from? ”17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans
10:17
NKJV.
So faith comes from the Word of God. Why do we keep reading it over
and over again? That’s like asking; “Why do we eat everyday?”
Jesus said; “4
But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'
"”
Matthew
4:4
NKJV.
What is our Goal? Not to replace your home church, nor to promote
religion. Our goal is to obey Jesus and promote individual
relationship with Him
sharing in his salvation. “18
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has
been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make
disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to
observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age." Amen.”
Matthew
28:18-20
NKJV.
So as we move forward in our tenth
year of the Feast, let’s keep the first thing first. That’s
salvation the gift of God, God’s riches at Christs Expense (GRACE).
Freely given by God and received from Jesus. Shared by strength in
the Holy Ghost. I sincerely thank you the Saints, for sharing the
Feast with us. We
continue imitating
Jesus in everyday life; “33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In
the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have
overcome the world."”
John
16:33
NKJV;
with Jesus we overcome the world. I’m
looking forward to hearing
from you mike@admenu.com.
If
the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
