God’s Love In The Name Of Jesus!

Today’s Feast

Dec. 8, 2015 – I Samuel 25

God’s Love In The Name Of Jesus!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.John 14:6, English Standard Version (ESV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully and faithfully continue the Feast in 1 Samuel  Chapter 25; “Death of Samuel. (1) David's request; Nabil’s churlish refusal. (2-11) David's intention to destroy Nabal. (12-17) Abigail takes a present to David. (18-31) He is pacified, Nabal dies. (32-39) David takes Abigail to wife. (39-44)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today as we feast in 1st Samuel, we see the Death of Samuel. King David’s request for the feast for his men. Nabal selfishly refuses to feed David’s men. David’s intention was to destroy Nabal and all his men. Abigail prepares a feast and takes it to David and his men. David is reconsiders killing Nabal. God avenges David and Nabal dies. David being impressed by Abigail’s generous acts takes the widowed Abigail as his wife; “42 So Abigail rose in haste and rode on a donkey, attended by five of her maidens; and she followed the messengers of David, and became his wife. I Samuel 25:42, ESV. God promotes his children and puts the evil persons down. Truly vengeance is God’s; “19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it[a] to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”Romans 12:19, ESV.  With that in mind offer all persons God’s love in the name of Jesus. Keep the first thing first, salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus.  If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.  Click this link for more information;  admenu.com/calling.htm .
