With Praise & Thanksgiving!

Dec. 14, 2013 – Psalms 147

Psalms 147  “The people of God are exhorted to praise him for his mercies and care. (1-11) For the salvation and prosperity of the church. (12-20)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalms.  By reading Psalms 147 .  The Psalm opens; “Praise the Lord!”  The people of God built up, preserved and given wisdom of God.  “20 He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know his rules. Praise the Lord!   Psalm 147:20  - English Standard Version (ESV).   The church today, is built up and preserved by the wisdom, power, and goodness of God, it is called to praise him for all the benefits and blessings received from Jesus (see 1 Corinthians 8:5-6).   We begin all things by giving thanks in Jesus name.  “57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.1 Corinthians 15:57 ESV.   Let our thanks be to God from whom all blessings flow (see Ephesians 1:3).

Thank God for blessing us with salvation through Jesus! Hallelujah!

48 When it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into containers but threw away the bad. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous 50 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Matthew 13:48-50 ESV.
