The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Deuteronomy – 12. I loved the way our Feast was drawn to a close yesterday. "Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse: " - Deuteronomy 11:26. Let us continue in faith our God is awesome, in that we still have a choice! “He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.'” - Revelation 3:21-22. Please keep me in your prayers. Lord willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

April 27 - 28, 2009, Deuteronomy 9 - 10

The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Deuteronomy - Chapter 9. Tomorrows chapter is Deuteronomy – 10. I have a doctors appointment in Rancho Cucamonga. Therefore I felt it would be prudent to send today and tomorrow's Feast together. This Feast belongs to Jesus so I know it doesn't go out void nor by my power. "We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn't he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, if it is so that God is one. He will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith . " - Romans 3:28- 30 You know that's it justified by faith! Over the threshold the plack reads; “but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” This is the full verse "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Overview Deuteronomy;

“This book repeats much of the history and of the laws contained in the three foregoing books: Moses delivered it to Israel a little before his death, both by word of mouth, that it might affect, and by writing, that it might abide. The men of that generation to which the law was first given were all dead, and a new generation was sprung up, to whom God would have it repeated by Moses himself, now they were going to possess the land of Canaan. The wonderful love of God to his church is set forth in this book; how he ever preserved his church for his own mercies sake, and would still have his name called upon among them. Such are the general outlines of this book, the whole of which shows Moses' love for Israel, and marks him an eminent type of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us apply the exhortations and persuasions to our own consciences, to excite our minds to a believing, grateful obedience to the commands of God.” - Henry’s Concise.

The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Numbers - Chapter 34.   What, how does God communicate with me?   If I listen to God what might I hear?  "The LORD said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by."   Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper." - 1^st Kings 19:11-12.  Please keep me in your prayers.  Lord willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Numbers - Chapter 33.   Today people all over the United States are taking part in anti-tax T-Parties.   If they listened what might they hear Jesus saying?  " They said to Him, "Caesar's."
