October 29, 2009, Acts - Chapter 11

Dear Saints,

You and I prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 11 . Now the first verse in chapter eleven is good news for men everywhere; “The apostles and the brothers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.” – Act 11:1. Today as you pray and meet people, wherever you go share the good news of God’s Word. If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.”- Romans 12:1

October 28, 2009, Acts - Chapter 10

Dear Saints,

You and I prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 10 . Is there anyone that calls the Bible a boring collection of books? Then they must not be reading it in the light that shows them what our Awesome God has in store for us; “Talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. 28He said to them: "You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him. But God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean.” – Act 10: 27. I’m convinced that Jesus paid the price for every person we may come in contact with If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

You and I prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 9 . No matter how bad we sin, God will still forgive us. Yesterday I said keep your eyes on Saul; “Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest” – Act 9:1. Today we start off by seeing what a Jesus hating rascal Saul really was. Look at him and think could I be a bigger sinner than Saul? If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”- Hebrews 4:12

October 26, 2009, Acts - Chapter 8

Dear Saints,

You and I prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 8 . Did you have a good weekend? How bad can we sin and still be forgiven as well as used by God. To answer that keep an eye on this guy named Saul; As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison.” – Acts 8:3. Do you ever wonder who God wants to save? ‘’Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized? “– Acts 8:36. You’re right again God is not willing that any should depart this life, not knopwing Jesus. If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Acts - Chapter's 5 - 7, and the Feast goes on. “Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? October 22, 2009, Acts - Chapter 4

Dear Saints,

You and I prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 4 . What is going on here? OIne day reaching out in Jesus name the next you’re headed to prison? Concerning reaching out in Jesus name; “And his name, through faith in his name, has made this man strong, whom you see and have knowledge of: yes, the faith which is through him has made him well, before you all.” – Acts 3:16. We see they do not take the credit for the healing of the beggar. I’m sure there was people who believed that his healing was trickery

I tell you as we prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 3, Wow this is great feasting we see new Saints and new controversy, logistics this is an exciting book. Just entering the Temple turns into an event; “When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!" So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.” – Acts 3:3 - 5. He was looking for money so he could eat, what did they give him? October 20, 2009, Acts - Chapter 2

Dear Saints,

I Tell you as we prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 2, When we read here of the excitement and ridicule that came with the filling of the Holy Spirit it is easy to get caught up with all that this meant to the people that day. Some that didn’t understand said they were drunk, those that did understand were amazed that they heard in the disciples speaking their own language. So many of them missed the most important promise that was brought with the filling of the Holy Spirit! Here is the promise, that was brought to include you and I Saints; “And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – Acts 2: 21. “Everyone”, that is so important because all of us are included in that one word “Everyone”, it includes you and I and everyone who calls on our Lord. Here is the promise of the return of our Lord Jesus “After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."” – Acts 1:9-11. Acts 1 Overview

“This book unites the Gospels to the Epistles. It contains many particulars concerning the apostles Peter and Paul, and of the Christian church from the ascension of our Saviour to the arrival of St. Paul at Rome, a space of about thirty years. St. Luke was the writer of this book; he was present at many of the events he relates, and attended Paul to Rome. But the narrative does not afford a complete history of the church during the time to which it refers, or even of St. Paul's life. The object of the book has been considered to be, 1. To relate in what manner the gifts of the Holy Spirit were communicated on the day of Pentecost, and the miracles performed by the apostles, to confirm the truth of Christianity, as showing that Christ's declarations were really fulfilled. 2. To prove the claim of the Gentiles to be admitted into the church of Christ. This is shown by much of the contents of the book. A large portion of the Acts is occupied by the discourses or sermons of various persons, the language and manner of which differ, and all of which will be found according to the persons by whom they were delivered, and the occasions on which they were spoken. It seems that most of these discourses are only the substance of what was actually delivered. They relate nevertheless fully to Jesus as the Christ, the anointed Messiah.” – Henry’
